Meet the Team
Shrey Patel
Founder and Director
Shrey handles the core day to day strategic and business development activities at Guardis AI.
​
Prior to Guardis, he founded Armis, where he has spearheaded efforts for the startup to participate in contract opportunities for DoD organizations such as Army Futures Command, DARPA, USSOCOM and US Strategic Capabilities Office.
​
Prior to Armis, he has been in both private real estate investing and middle market industrial private equity.
​
He holds a B.S. in Finance and Business Management from NYU Stern School of Business.
Naji Mounsef
Lead ML Systems Engineer
Naji leads the firm overall ML technology development strategy.
​
Prior to Guardis, he was a Lead Advanced Analytics Software Engineer at Verra Mobility, where he developed cognitive analytics, machine vision, and other deep learning solutions for smart mobility and automotive applications.
​
At Verra, Naji also led a team of advanced analytics engineers to create analytics and monitoring tools to help their clients optimize traffic management and improve predictive event forecasting.
​
He holds a B.S. in Computer Engineering from Notre Dame, and a Ph.D in Electrical Engineering from ASU.
Ixa Gani
DevOps Engineer
Ixa is a development operations engineer at the firm.
​
With a breadth of experience in algorithm design and full-stack software, Ixa will work toward optimizing smooth software deployment and operations at Guardis.
​
Ixa holds a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science and Engineering from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology.
Andy Weiss
Head of Marketing & Business Development
Andy leads the marketing and business development functions, including branding, go-to-market, and demand generation strategies.
​
He is an experienced global marketing leader who achieves consistent, double-digit growth by combining well-crafted brand storytelling with high-converting demand generation.
​
His data-driven approach has scaled B2B SaaS companies to $50M+, launched online education programs around the globe, and sold hot dogs on Facebook.
​
Andy earned his MBA from the University of Chicago Booth School of Business and his BA from the University of Notre Dame.
Peng Hao Lu
Full Stack Engineer
Peng Hao works as full-stack engineer at the firm.
​
Peng Hao is a talented engineer with extensive experience in the software engineering space, including roles at Meta and Cardinal Labs. He has held several positions as a both a front-end and full-stack engineer.
​
He holds an M.S. and B.S. in Computer Science from Stanford University.
